Second Semester Underway

Well Nick’s second semester has officially started, and he is as excited about this set of classes as he was about his first set back in September.  He had the first two of his classes today, and tonight we went to a local restaurant The Black Cow as a semester kick-off celebration.

The first of a [...]

Not much to report for this week. We’ve been laying low, taking it easy. We’ve had some verrrry cold days, and others not so bad; more snow ahead though. Nick starts classes again this coming week. The break has been great, and he has an exciting class schedule to look forward [...]

Snow Much Fun

Nick and I have had a good week. We attended a “New People” lunch at our church and enjoyed getting to know some of the people we’ve met a little better. I got together with a group of gals from our building for something our host called “Chick-flicks and Chocolate”. Everyone had [...]

More Virginia Events

We stayed in Virginia for a few days after Christmas, which was nice since it had been several months since we had seen everyone.  We crammed as much into those few days as we could and have some fun pictures to share.
Happy Birthday Mike

Christmas in Richmond

This Christmas was very special to Nick and I, as it was our first Christmas together. Over the past 6 years, we have occasionally spent Easter and Thanksgiving together, but not Christmas. Christmas Eve morning, after a quick overnight stop in New Jersey, we drove down to Richmond to spend Christmas with Nick’s [...]

Well, we are home, cold home, and ready to get back on the blogging horse. Our blog topics have been a little blah this past month, as the snow continually kept us from accomplishing anything else. We returned home to a few more inches, which means that we broke the record for December [...]
